Research on Logistics Management of Prefabricated Components of Assembled Building
Assembled building is a building model wherein building components are prefabricated in factories and then transported to the construction site for assembly. To ensure smooth manufacturing and assembly processes, substantial logistics support is required.Effective logistics management can reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency, thereby lowering the overall project cost.Additionally, prefabricated components need to be delivered to the construction site accurately within the specified time frame, and measures must be taken to prevent damage during transportation.A well-planned logistics arrangement can guarantee the smooth progress of construction, avoiding delays in schedule and quality issues caused by logistical delays or component damage.Currently,in China, although research on supply chain management for assembled building has developed rapidly, there is still no industry-recognized system for the transportation and logistics of prefabricated building components in assembled building.
