A Review on Problems of Multi-product Order and Multi-warehouse Fulfillment of E-commerce Platforms
The rapid development of the digital economy has made e-commerce platforms become a place for people to consume online,which can satisfy the customers'personalized needs,and consequently brings a lot of order fulfillment problems.Among them,multi-warehouse order splitting and order consolidation are particularly prominent problems,which will not only affect the efficiency of order fulfillment and customer satisfaction,but also increase the cost of order fulfillment.How to design a reasonable order fulfillment process has been an urgent problem for e-commerce platforms.This paper reviews the research status of multi-warehouse order splitting and order consolidation at home and abroad,and summarizes the existing problems in the research,and finally draws a conclusion.
