Thinking and summary of experiences of the Chinese Undergraduate Physics Experiment Competition(Innovation)
The self-selected category competition of Chinese Undergraduate Physics Experiment Competition(Innovation)provides students with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate innovative and practical abilities in the field of physics experimentation.Independent design and construction of the experimental setups overcomes the shortcomings of traditional "black box" teaching methods.In the 8th edition competition,the project "Measurement and analysis system for three-dimensional electric and magnetic field distribution" won the first prize for its outstanding performance.Taking this pro-ject as an example,this paper summarized the experience of participating in the self-selected category competition,starting from studying the competition regulations,determining the topic perspective,conceptualizing the entry,designing and constructing the apparatus,and highlighting its distinctive features.It provided recommendations for participants in similar competitions on how to efficiently and purposefully complete their entries.
