Design and research of plane gratings in photorefractive crystal
Photorefractive effect shows the great application value in holographic storage and in-formation process.The quality and speed of information processing are affected by the characteristics of holographic gratings directly.Volume Bragg grating is an extensive form for photorefractive holo-graphic storage.In this experiment,the fabrication parameters of Raman-Nath grating were provided by theoretical calculation.The experiment setup was designed and the higher-order diffraction proper-ties of the plane grating were investigated experimentally in lithium niobate crystal.This had potential application in adjustable beam splitter and optical image processing.This experiment could expand the students'knowledge of nonlinear optics,train their experimental skills of complicated optical system,enable their scientific critical thinking and scientific innovation ability.
