How does resources investment of enterprise impact technological diversification?
Resources investment is a necessary condition and basic guarantee for technological innovation.Based on resource-based theory and Schumpeter entrepreneur innovation model,from the perspective of the quantity and nature of resources investment,taking the data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed manufacturing companies in Shanxi Province from 2007 to 2022 as a sample,this paper analyses the relationship between R&D investment,slack resources and technological diversification.It is found that R&D investment can significantly promote technological diversification,and unabsorbed slack resources have a moderating effect that enhances this positive influence,whereas absorbed slack resources have a moderating effect that weakens this positive influence.Based on the conclusions,it puts forward suggestions for improving technological innovation capability of manufacturing enterprises in Shanxi Province.
