Political economics analysis of fully utilizing the potential of domestic demand:Based on the perspective of the relationship between"needs"and"demand"
Since the reform and opening up,the role of domestic demand in promoting our country's economic development has continued to increase,and has gradually become an important driving force that supporting our country's economic development.Especially with the domestic and international environment faced by our country has undergone major changes,it has become an inevitable requirement for our country's economic development to give full play to the potential of our country's domestic demand and establish the dominant position of domestic demand in our country's economic development,so that we can build a new development pattern with domestic large cycles as the main body and mutual promotion of domestic and international double cycles.This paper argues that from the view of Marxist political economy,the potential of domestic demand is essentially a"need"that has not yet been transformed into a"demand";the essence of making full use of the potential of our domestic demand is to transform the people's needs for a better life into a realistic market demand.At present,the imbalance and insufficiency in our country's economic and social development makes it difficult for people to transform their needs for a better life into market demand,which in turn leads to the failure of our country's domestic demand potential to be fully realized.Therefore,the government needs to adopt a variety of measures to promote the transformation and upgrading of the supply-side structure,the significant increase in labor income,and the decline in the price of some necessary subsistence materials,so that the people can use more income for the purchase of consumer goods,thereby allowing the domestic demand potential of our country can be better utilized.
