Research on the impact of the opening of high-speed railway on export trade and countermeasures:Taking Shaanxi province as an example
The construction and opening of high-speed railroad has a great role in promoting the development of China's foreign trade,but there is a lack of analysis of the impact of the opening of high-speed railroad in Shaanxi on the city's export trade and the mechanism.This paper uses the 2008-2022 urban statistics of Shaanxi Province combined with multi-period double-difference model measurement to find that the opening of high-speed rail is generally conducive to promoting the development of urban export trade in Shaanxi,and the mediation effect test finds that the opening of high-speed rail is able to improve urban export trade by increasing the employment of people in the tertiary industry and reducing the unit transportation cost.Therefore,it is proposed that Shaanxi Province should emphasize the role of high-speed rail in the open economy,improve the level of opening up to the outside world,and deeply integrate into the pattern of"One Belt,One Road"and other related countermeasures.
