A study on progress and prospect of tourism image in China:Based on CiteSpace
Tourism image has traditionally been valued by tourism destinations and is an important area of destination research.Clarifying the knowledge system of tourism image is helpful to further promote the theoretical innovation of destination image management.The article is based on the literature with the theme of"tourism image"from 1994-2022 included in the CNKI database,using CiteSpace visualization software for the literature authors,research institutions and keywords analysis.Research suggests that:First,scholars and institutions in the field of tourism image is co-occurrence less,and academic communication and cooperation need to be strengthened.Second,the hot topics of research include city tourism,image perception,brand image,branding,cognitive image,content analysis and network text.Third,digital footprint,network travelogue,geotagged images,network text analysis and text mining are hot topics related to tourism image research in the future period.
