Concretization of abstract contents,application of the knowledge in textbook,sim-plification of complicated issues(CAS)for science and engineering courses in higher schools is analyzed and condensed to CAS teaching tragic.Taking college physics as an example,this paper analyses the effects of CAS method on capability development.Concretization fosters interest,application motivates initiative,while simplification improves innovation capability.
