ANALYSIS OF THREE KINDS OF COLOR LINE IN GRATING DIFFRACTION OF CD DISCS
Three types of color line phenomena generated by optical discs under grazing inci-dence of incandescent light are analyzed from the perspectives of interference, the combined effect of interference and diffraction, and reflection. This paper takes the generation of green lines as an example, based on the construction of optical discs and starting from different inci-dent modes, discusses the impact of different incident modes on the position of color lines on CD discs, explains the reasons for the generation of three types of color lines, and analyzes the conditions for their generation and the factors that affect them. The theoretical model was val-idated through experiments. It is found that the generation of the first and second types of col-or lines is essentially influenced by aperture limitations and affects the form of light intensity distribution. The incident light from above the substrate forms the first type of color lines, which are mainly affected by interference factors. While, the incident light from the side of the substrate forms the second type of color line, which is also affected by interference and diffraction factors. The third type of color line is generated in the line of sight direction due to the reflection effect of the central metal ring.
