依托"强基计划"、立足物理学科培养新工科人才的探索与实践

新工科建设和"强基计划"分别是教育部在国家层面先后部署的培养未来新技术人才和基础学科拔尖人才的重大战略举措.作为教育部确定的首批"强基计划"专业,物理学是自然科学的基石,也是新工科发展的原始动力和处女地.能否有效衔接新工科建设和物理学专业"强基计划",构建理工融合共享共建平台,打造理工贯通本硕博一体化培养机制,实现由理科走向理工融合的人才培养模式?本文介绍了在工科优势综合性大学中依托物理学专业"强基计划"开展新工科人才培养的执行方案、改革举措和取得的初步成效,汇报了西安交通大学立足物理学科开展新工科人才培养模式机制改革的探索和实践,期望能够为其他工科优势大学的物理学科开展新工科人才培养提供参考和借鉴.
EXPLORATION AND PRACTICE OF CULTIVATING NEW ENGINEERING TALENTS BASED ON THE"STRENGTHING BASIC DISCIPLINES PLAN"IN PHYSICS DISCIPLINE
The construction of the new engineering disciplines and the"Strengthening Basic Disciplines Plan"are significant strategic initiatives successively deployed by the Ministry of Education at the national level to cultivate future talents in new technologies and outstanding talents in basic disciplines.As one of the first batch of"Strengthening Basic Disciplines Plan"majors identified by the Ministry of Education,physics,being the cornerstone of natural sci-ences,will also be the original driving force and virgin land for the development of new engi-neering disciplines.Can we effectively connect the construction of new engineering disciplines with the"Strengthening Basic Disciplines Plan"in physics majors,build a platform for the in-tegration and shared construction of science and engineering,create an integrated cultivation mechanism for undergraduate,master's,and doctoral programs in science and engineering,and achieve a talent cultivation model that transitions from science to the integration of science and engineering?This article introduces the implementation plan,reform measures,and pre-liminary achievements of cultivating new engineering talents based on the"Strengthening Bas-ic Disciplines Plan"in physics majors at comprehensive universities with engineering advanta-ges.It reports on the exploration and practice of Xi'an Jiaotong University in carrying out re-form of the talent cultivation model and mechanism in new engineering disciplines based on the physical discipline,hoping to provide references and insights for other universities with engineering advantages to cultivate new engineering talents in their physics disciplines.
