Digital technologies represented by metaverse technology are increasingly valued and have a wide range of application scenarios.This paper analyzes and finds that metaverse technology has effectively promoted the development of cross-border e-commerce by promoting multisensory interaction,expanding consumer reach,triggering digital collectibles fever,and stimulating new forms of marketing.Based on this,this paper believes that digital technology can empower the development of cross-border e-commerce,mainly reflected in reshaping cross-border e-commerce marketing methods,innovating cross-border e-commerce business models,improving cross-border e-commerce operational efficiency,reducing cross-border e-commerce operating costs,and expanding cross-border e-commerce consumption demand.This discovery points the way for promoting digital technology to better empower the development of cross-border e-commerce.
