Method of brain-computer music interface for emotional regulation
To improve the insomnia symptoms among those who suffer from insomnia, this article combines the cutting-edge technology of brain-computer interface with music therapy,a psychological treatment method,to propose a solution that differs from traditional medication for intervening in depression and anxiety. This article adopts a self-developed music-synchronized electrical stimulation headset system for clinical experiments, selecting 60 volunteers suffering from insomnia as research subjects to conduct a 10-day intervention treatment. The electroencephalogram, functional near-infrared spectroscopy brain functional imaging data, and questionnaire information filled out by the volunteers were collected.Through comparing and analyzing the data before and after the intervention,it was verified that the music-synchronized electrical stimulation headset system can,to a certain extent, achieve the effects of enhancing sleep onset speed, improving insomnia symptoms, and regulating abnormal electroencephalogram waveforms.Additionally,no adverse reactions were observed among the volunteers, indicating that this headset system possesses both effectiveness and safety.
