Highly selective methane sensor based on Pd-doped SnO2
This paper introduces a methane sensor based on Pd-doped SnO2 material, which exhibits high selectivity, strong sensitivity and short response time in methane detection. The effective doping of Pd to SnO2 by wet immersion method is realized, and the gas sensing performance of the sensor is optimized. The impregnation method is used to prepare Pt loaded foam ceramics as filters, which effectively improved the selectivity of the sensor. The study shows that the methane sensor with Pt load foam ceramic filter not only significantly improves the response to methane gas,but also effectively distinguishes methane from other interfering gases. This sensor has potential application value in the fields of coal mine safety and environmental monitoring, and provides a new solution to solve the problem of selectivity and sensitivity in methane detection.
