Application of chain management path led by the wound clinic in chronic wounds
Objective:To observe the efficacy of chain management pathway led by the wound clinic in the management of chronic wounds.Methods:Patients with chronic wounds admitted to our hospital from January 1,2022 to October 31,2022 were included,and divided into two groups(n=51 for each group)using random number table.Patients in the control group received just routine outpatient management and those in the observational group were intervened by chain management pathway oriented in the wound outpatient.Then the two groups were compared regarding the wound healing status,changes of psychological status and quality of life before and after the intervention.Results:The scoring on wound healing status,and each components on Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)was decreased after intervention in both groups(P<0.05),and the decrease was more significant in observational group than in control group(P<O.05).Conclusion:Chain management pathway led by the outpatient wound service in chronic wound care delivery can facilitate the wound healing,improve psychological status and quality of life.
