Practice and exploration of application-oriented mixed teaching mode in nutrition curriculums
Objective:To understand the application effect of mixed teaching mode in instruction of the curriculums of nutrition.Methods:A class with curriculum of nutrition during the first semester of 2021-2022 school year was randomly selected,and divided into traditional teaching group and mixed teaching group.Students in the traditional teaching group underwent offline instruction,and those in the mixed teaching group added were given online teaching besides traditional learning.After completion of the teaching assignments as planned,the two groups of students were compared regarding BMI,percentage of body fat,teaching satisfaction,willingness to continual learning,percentage of class attendance,scores on the experiment and final tests,and the results were analyzed.Results:There was no difference in gender,BMI and percentage of body fat between the two groups,yet students in the mixed teaching group had higher scores on the open experiment,final written test and better willingness to further learning than those in the traditional teaching group.Conclusion:Application of mixed teaching in nutrition curriculum can be conductive to improving the students'academic achievement as well as teaching effect to a certain degree.
