The process of air floatation and AO was used to treat the wastewater from mechanical processing and related processes. The project design scale was 300 m3/d. The running data showed that the process was effective and the parameters of effluent were CODcr≤ 100 mg/L, BOD5≤20 mg/L, NH3-N-≤15 mg/L, SS≤70 mg/L, TP≤0. 5 mg/L, and pH 6 ～ 9, respectively.So the treated effluent guaeity was better than the design requriements.
