Gamma Radiation Environment Quality Analysis of KunShan City
Ionizing radiation is an important factor for the environment quality, which will have an impact on the health safety of the public. The Environmental Protection Bureau of Kunshan city has launched the investigation on natural background radiation of environment quality since 2007, and obtained a lot of radiation monitoring data. In this paper, the environmental radiation monitoring data of 2011—2015 are reported. The annual comparison, the reasons of annual variation on monitoring data, and the evaluation of environmental radiation quality are analyzed in those years. The results provide a new idea for the next stage of environmental radiation quality monitoring in the city.
