Firstly, the article summarizes the regulatory requirements for environmental quality monitoring in key areas of heavy metal pollution prevention and control in Jiangsu Province, including the principle of setting monitoring points, monitoring indicators and time periods. Secondly, the distribution of pollution sources in key areas of Jiangsu Province is analyzed comprehensively. The rationality of deployment of key heavy metal monitoring points in key areas of the province, analysis of existing problems and suggestions on optimization and adjustment of monitoring points are presented. Finally, the present situation and existing problems of the"daily test monthly report"of heavy metal enterprises are discussed.
