Simultaneousdetermination of ten heavy metal elements in water quality by ICP-MS
A method for simultaneous determination of various heavy metal elements such as selenium, iron, nickel, strontium, barium, vanadium, niobium, lead, chromium and copper in surface water by ICP-MS was established. After pretreatment, water samples were evaporated, dissociated, atomized and ionized into MS, Separating all ions by high speed sequential scanning.According to the mass charge ratio, we do qualitative and quantitative analysis. Results show that the linear correlation coefficients of 10 heavy metal elements are all greater than 0. 999. Standard deviation is within 5% and the standard recovery rate is within 80%~ 110%. This method is simple, rapid, linear, sensitive, accurate and reliable and it's an ideal method for determining heavy metal elements in surface water.
