Study on Provincial Balanced and High-quality Development of Chinese Path to Health Modernization
Objective To evaluate the level of Chinese path to health modernization,and explore the new path of provincial balanced and high-quality development of health modernization.Methods Based on the spatial measurement model,the level of provincial health moderniza-tion in 2022 was evaluated and analyzed.Results The total index of provincial health modernization level in China showed significant negative spatial correlation,with the national total index score of 0.543 0,the score of 0.578 7 in the eastern region,the score of 0.531 4 in the central re-gion,and the score of 0.518 0 in the western region.The demographic structure,health resources,the environment,education,policies,and inno-vation factors had significant impacts on the provincial health modernization level.Conclusion The path to balanced and high-quality develop-ment of provincial health modernization is to strengthen the appropriateness and flexibility of policies to promote coordinated regional develop-ment,to optimize the allocation of health care resources to cope with the"siphon phenomenon"in the provinces,and to rely on the innovation drive of new quality productivity to empower high-quality development.
