Practices and Implications of Performance Management to Activate the Endogenous Motivation of High-quality Development in Public Hospitals
Under the guidance of national policies,it is a new issue for hospital managers how to utilize performance as a"booster"and"engine"to activate the endogenous motivation of high-quality development in public hospitals.The sample hospital has set up a multi-de-partmental joint collaboration mechanism for performance management,formed a comprehensive performance target appraisal system for the whole hospital,set up basic performance programs for different series,designed and implemented performance programs for new medical service projects,personalized performance programs for special departments,special performance programs,and so on,with remarkable re-sults.These are practical implications from sample hospitals,such as grasping national policies and designing hospital performance plans guided by public welfare,conducting in-depth clinical research and implementing closed-loop management of performance plans through-out the entire chain under the specialized assistant model,taking departmental linkage and multiple measures to form a performance man-agement synergy that activates the endogenous motivation of high-quality development in public hospitals.
