Analysis of HIV/AIDS patients with hepatitis C virus(HCV)co-infection and its influencing factors in Baoshan
Objective To analyze HIV/AIDS patients with hepatitis C virus(HCV)co-infection and its influencing factors in Baoshan,and to provide the scientific basis for prevention and control of HIV/HCV co-infection.Methods The data of HCV antibody detection in HIV/AIDS patients were collected retrospectively.The HIV/AIDS patients who had been tested for HCV antibody were selected as the subjects,and the relevant demographic and behavioral information were collected.Chi-square test was used to describe the classification data(composition ratio),and logistic regression was used for multivariate analysis.Results The prevalence of HIV/HCV co-infection was 6.4%.Injection drug use(OR=45.359,95%CI:19.171-107.322),HIV/AIDS infections of aged 0 to 29(OR=1.860,95%CI:1.123-3.080),aged 30 to 49(OR=2.222,95%CI:1.413-3.492),ethnic minorities(OR=2.218,95%CI:1.601-3.073),male(OR=2.149,95%CI:1.610-2.870),divorced or widowed(OR=1.643,95%CI:1.179-2.094),unmarried(OR=1.737,95%CI:1.282-2.352),2010 and previous reports(OR=1.505,95%CI:1.172-1.935)were the risk factors of HIV/HCV co-infection.Conclusions HIV/HCV co-infection should not be ignored in Baoshan.Injection drug use,diagnosed HIV under the age of 50,male,unmarried,divorced or widowed,2010 and previous reports were the risk factors of HIV/HCV co-infection.
