Practice and Evaluation of Participatory Teaching Method in Health Education Courses in Medical Colleges
Objective To explore the application effect of participatory teaching method in health education courses.Methods T-aking students majoring in preventive medicine as the research subjects,participatory teaching activities were designed and carried out based on their course learning needs and chapter characteristics.Before and after class,students were evaluated for teaching effec-tiveness and satisfaction.Results Most students have mastered the basic knowledge and concepts of this course,and believe that participatory teaching has improved their abilities in applying professional knowledge,communication,independent thinking,and self-taught.They are highly satisfied with the teaching content,teaching effectiveness,evaluation methods,and overall arrangements.Conclusion Participatory teaching method is helpful in enhancing the teaching effectiveness of health education and improving stu-dent satisfaction.
