Analysis on the Status and Influencing Factors of Nurses'Critical Nursing Ability in Grade-Ⅲ Chinese Medicine Hospitals
Objective To investigate the status of critical nursing ability among nurses in Chinese medicine hospitals,and analyze its influencing factors to provide a basis for cultivating critical nursing personnel.Methods Convenience sampling was used to select nurses from a Chinese medicine hospital in Chongqing as the research subjects,and a General Information Survey Form and the Competency Characteristics Scale for Clinical Nurses in the Emergency and Critical Nursing Medicine Department were used for in-vestigation.Results The competency of nurses in Chinese medicine hospitals for critical nursing is at an above average level.The length of work experience,professional title,department position type,and confidence level in handling emergency and critical nurs-ing work have an impact on the competency of nurses in Chinese medicine hospitals for emergency and critical nursing position(P<0.05).Conclusion The competency of nurses in Chinese medicine hospitals for emergency and critical nursing positions needs to be further improved.In future training,special attention can be paid to nurses in Chinese medicine hospitals with low work experience,low professional titles,different types of departmental positions,and insufficient confidence to enhance their abilities in emergency and critical nursing and their competency in emergency and critical care positions.
