Investigation and Analysis on the Matching Status between Medical Laboratory Technology Major and IVD Industry Chain
To investigate and research the current demand for personnel in the IVD industry chain,the employment situation of grad-uates majoring in medical laboratory technology,and the current learning of IVD among students majoring in medical laboratory tech-nology shows that the personnel training goals of traditional medical laboratory technology majors are mainly focused on downstream fields such as hospital laboratory departments,medical laboratories,and disease control centers,ignoring the personnel needs of IVD enterprises in the upstream and middle reaches.This article proposes a practical path for matching the medical laboratory technology major with the IVD industry,including revising personnel training programs,planning course systems,compiling relevant textbooks,collaborating with enterprises,establishing training systems,and updating teaching content.It aims to innovate personnel training models and evaluation systems,promote the development of the new medical laboratory industry,broaden employment channels for students,alleviate employment pressure on graduates,and fundamentally solve the imbalance between supply and demand of medical laboratory technology graduates,thereby improving the alignment between the supply of medical laboratory technology major and in-dustry development needs.
