Analysis on Research Hotspots on Nursing Continuing Education in China Based on CiteSpace
Objective To learn the current development status of nursing continuing education in China,analyze research hotspots,and provide reference for the reform of nursing continuing education.Methods Using China National Knowledge Infrastructure,VIP,and Wanfang databases as data sources,CiteSpace software was used to visually analyze 818 relevant literature on nursing con-tinuing education in China from 1993 to 2023.Results(1)The overall number of research publications on nursing continuing educ-ation in China is relatively low,with relatively few articles published in core journals and supported by funding.(2)Teaching reform,practical teaching,and teaching teams are hotspots in the field of nursing continuing education.Conclusion There are many short-comings in the teaching reform,practical teaching,and teaching team building of nursing continuing education in China.Educational institutions should rely on modern information technology,innovate teaching concepts,provide teachers with certain policy support and financial guarantees,encourage them to actively carry out teaching reforms,and integrate high-quality teaching into the entire process of continuing education for academic qualifications.
