Analysis on the Status and Influencing Factors of Innovation Ability among Nursing Undergraduates
Objective To learn the status of nursing undergraduates'innovation ability in colleges and explore the influencing fac-tors of their innovation ability.Methods A convenient sampling method was adopted to conduct a questionnaire survey on 373 nurs-ing undergraduates(hereinafter referred to as nursing students)at Xi'an Medical University.Excel and SPSS18.00 were used for data organization and analysis.Results 350 valid questionnaires were collected.There was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)in the total score and three dimensions of the Collegians'Innovation Ability Questionnaire among nursing students who recognized the importance of different innovation abilities and participated in innovation activities.Conclusion The nursing students'innovation a-bility is at a moderate level.The level of innovation ability is influenced by the recognition of the importance of innovation ability and the frequency and type of participation in innovation activities.In the later stage of cultivation,colleges should carry out innovation lectures and encourage nursing students to actively participate in various innovation activities to enhance their innovation ability and promote the healthy development of nursing career.
