Investigation,Analysis and Inspiration on Status of Graduates'Mental Health in Agriculture and Forestry Colleges
Objective To investigate the graduates'mental health status in a certain agriculture and forestry colleges, and provide theoretical basis for graduates'mental health education. Methods The Cattell Sixteen Personality Factor Inventory(Cattell 16PF)was used to conduct a test survey on 596 graduates, and SPSS 26.0 was used for data processing and statistical analysis. Results The Y1 score of mental health literacy among some graduates in the agriculture and forestry colleges was significantly higher than the na-tional adult norm(P<0.01),but there was no statistically significant difference in the five factors of gender, grade, comprehensive de-gree of undergraduate colleges, degree, and whether it is a first-class discipline or not(P>0.05).There is a statistically significant dif-ference in the anxiety factor scores of graduates of different genders(P<0.05),as well as in the stability and excitability factor scores of first-class disciplines(P<0.05).The mental health literacy scores of Project 211 universities are significantly higher than those of private universities(P<0.01).The stability factor, excitability factor, and tension factor scores of agriculture and forestry graduates w-ere statistically significant compared with those of science and engineering graduates(P<0.05).46.67%of graduates showed a signif-icant decrease in their mental health literacy scores before and after their postgraduate studies(P<0.01).Conclusion The overall g-raduates'mental health status in agriculture and forestry colleges is good.As the semester progresses, their mental stress levels con-tinue to increase. The average mental stress level per semester during the graduate stage is 41.17%higher than the average level dur-ing the undergraduate period.Nearly half of graduates experience a decline in their mental health levels after pursuing graduate stud-ies.Based on survey and interview results, this article constructs a dynamic field model for graduates'mental health.
