Exploration into the Impact of Exercise on the Collegians'Mental Health in Medical Colleges
Objective To explore the impact of sports on the collegians'mental health in medical colleges and provide guidance for their mental health development.Methods A random sampling method was used to select 136 collegians from medical colleges as the research subjects for 8 weeks of exercise training,mainly aerobic exercises such as brisk walking and jogging.The General Health Questionnaire(GHQ-20)was used to measure the collegians'psychological health level before and after exercise.Results Compared with before and after exercise,students'levels of depression and anxiety decreased,their self-approval increased,and their mental health significantly improved.Conclusion Exercise has a good intervention effect on collegians'mental health.Schools should fur-ther strengthen publicity and education to make students fully aware of the important role of exercise in physical and mental health,and regard exercise as one of the important means to improve their mental health level.
