The Effect of Silent Therapy on Psychological Stress Response and Sleep Disorders in Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Objective To evaluate the application effect of silent therapy in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods 100 patients admitted to our hospital for PCI surgery from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects. The control group received routine postoperative care after PCI,while the observation group received silent therapy on the basis of the control group. The intervention period for both groups of patients was 4 weeks. Before and after the intervention, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were used to investigate the degree of psychological stress response and sleep quality of patients. Results There was no statistically significant difference in SAS,SDS,and PSQI scores between the two groups of patients before intervention(P﹥0.05);After intervention, the SAS,SDS,and PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of silent therapy in PCI patients can reduce the degree of psychological stress response and im-prove sleep quality. It is recommended that nursing staff actively promote its application.
