Analysis of Clinical Nurses'Fertility Intention to Have Multiple Children and Influencing Factors in Grade-A Hospitals in Shanghai
Objective To learn the status of clinical nurses'fertility intention to have multiple children in Grade-A hospitals in Shanghai,analyze its influencing factors,provide a basis for nursing managers to learn the fertility dynamics of the nursing population,and provide reference for hospital nursing human resource planning.Methods Logistic regression analysis was conducted to learn the main influencing factors of clinical nurses'fertility intention to have multiple children with wjx.cn to edit and distribute electronic questionnaires.Results Among 360 nurses,111(30.83%)had the intention to have a second child,and 62(17.22%)had the intention to have three children or more.Professional title(OR=1.914),personal monthly income(OR=1.628),whether agree to live with elders or not(OR=2.226),small gender differences in elders'treatment of children(OR=1.909),and work pressure(OR=0.713)are the main influencing factors of clinical nurses'fertility intention to have multiple children(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a certain upward trend in the fertility intention of clinical nurses to have multiple children.It is recommended that nursing managers strengthen the movement management of nurses who have the intention to have multiple children,care about the physical and mental needs of nurses returning to work after childbirth,reasonably adjust flexible scheduling,and reduce the work pressure of nurses.Call on higher-level departments to increase the reserve of nursing human resources and the sensitivity of intermediate and above nursing titles,in order to encourage nurses to respond to the national fertility policy and better meet the nursing needs of patients.
