Evaluation of the Teaching Quality of Occupational Health and Occupational Medicine Courses in a Medical College
Objective To investigate the status of teaching quality of occupational health and occupational medicine in the under-graduate course of preventive medicine at a medical college,analyze the existing problems,and propose improvement measures.Methods SPSS was used to analyze the reliability and validity of the survey scale,and SERVQUAL model was used to judge the quality of course teaching services based on the expected perceived value in student course evaluation.Results The Cronbach's a coefficient of the survey scale was>0.90,the maximum contribution was>0.70,the commonality value was>0.66,and the cumulative explanatory power was>85%,indicating that the scale has high reliability and validity.The tangibility and reliability dimensions of the survey scale have been merged into a new dimension-the software and hardware dimension.The expected values for responsiveness and emotional dimensions are relatively low,not exceeding 3.67,reflecting insufficient communication between teachers and students.Conclusion The evaluation indicators for the quality system of course teaching services under the new teaching model in the post epidemic era need to be appropriately revised or improved.Emphasize teacher-student interaction in teaching and improve the quality of teaching services for the course.
