Potential Profile Analysis and Influencing Factors Research on Fresh Nursing Graduates'Career Decision-making
Objective To investigate the status of career decision-making among fresh nursing graduates,analyze their potential profile categories and demographic characteristics.Methods Convenience sampling was used to select Grade 2023 fresh nursing graduates from a medical university as the survey subjects.The survey was conducted with General Information Questionnaire,Chi-nese version of the Career Decision-making Difficulties Questionnaire,a Career Decision Self-efficacy Scale,and a Psychological Resilience Questionnaire.Potential profile analysis was conducted on the characteristics of career decision difficulties,and single fac-tor analysis and logistic regression analysis were used to identify the influencing factors of potential profile categories.Results A total of 365 fresh nursing graduates were included,and their career decision-making were divided into three categories:low difficulty group(20.3%),medium difficulty group(49.6%),and high difficulty group(30.1%).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that education level,employment situation assessment,career decision-making self-efficacy,family support,and psychological re-silience level were the influencing factors of potential profile categories of career decision-making difficulties for fresh nursing grad-uates(P<0.05).Conclusion There is significant heterogeneity in fresh nursing graduates'career decision-making difficulties.Nurs-ing educators should provide personalized vocational education counseling and intervention based on the influencing factors of differ-ent potential profiles to reduce nursing students'career decision-making difficulties.
