Exploration of the Application of Service Learning Theory in Practical Teaching of Community Nursing Course
Objective To explore the application effect of service learning theory in practical teaching of community nursing courses.Methods Cluster sampling was used to select Grade 2021 nursing students from two classes in our hospital as the research subjects.The control group received the traditional teaching model,while the experimental group received the team comprehensive practical teaching model guided by service learning theory,and compared the teaching effects of the two groups.Results More than 97%of the nursing students in the experimental group expressed satisfaction with the practical teaching concept,content,form,and assess-ment.More than 90%expressed satisfaction with the three comprehensive practical activities.The final exam scores,comprehensive scores,humanistic care ability,innovation ability,empathy ability,and community nursing perception ability of the experimental group were all better than those of the control group.Conclusion Integrating service learning theory into community nursing practice teaching can promote nursing students to internalize theoretical knowledge,improve their abilities in innovation,humanistic care,em-pathy,and community nursing perception,integrate knowledge skills services,and construct a teaching system of community nursing course practice platform base community linkage.
