Application of Narrative Nursing Training Based on OBE Concept in Clinical Nurses
Objective To evaluate the application effect of narrative nursing training based on OBE concept in clinical nurses.Methods 96 clinical nurses from a Grade-A hospital in Shandong province were selected to receive a 6-month narrative nursing training based on the OBE concept.Before and after the training,the students were evaluated with the Narrative Competence Scale(NCS)and the Jefferson Scale of Empathy-Health Professionals(JSE-HP)to assess the effectiveness of the implementation plan.Results Among the 96 participants,90 fully participated in the training.The total NCS score after the training was(154.72±21.51)score,which was higher than the pre-training score of(128.76±16.76)score,and the difference was statistically significant(t=20.153,P<0.001);The total score of JSE-HP was(112.26±15.65)score,which was higher than the pre-training score of(84.57±11.56)score,and the difference was statistically significant(t=8.652,P<0.05).Conclusion Narrative nursing training based on the OBE concept has improved clinical nurses'medical narrative and empathy ability,providing theoretical basis and practical experience for future narrative nursing training.It is recommended to promote application in clinical nursing training.
