The Application Effect of PBL Teaching Method for Nursing Interns in Endocrinology Department under Ideological & Political Education
Objective To explore the effect of problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method under Ideological & Political education in clinical teaching of nursing interns in endocrinology department.Methods 96 nursing students who interned in the endocrinology department of Mianyang Central Hospital from July 2023 to April 2024 were selected and divided into Group A(48 students from July to November 2023)and Group B(48 students from December 2023 to April 2024)according to different enrollment dates.Group A received conventional teaching methods,while Group B received PBL teaching methods under Ideological& Political education on the basis of Group A.The safety attitudes,professional quality,professional identity,and teaching satisfaction of patients on the day of graduation of department were compared between the two groups.Results On the day of graduation of department,the scores for each dimension and total scores of patients'safety attitude and professional quality,professional identity,and teaching satisfaction in Group B were higher than those in Group A(P<0.05).Conclusion Practice has shown that implementing PBL teaching under Ideological & Political education can effectively improve the patients'safety attitude and professional quality level of nursing interns in endocrinology department,enhance their professional identity,and improve teaching satisfaction,which is worthy of reference.
