Research on the Correlation between Nursing Interns'Clinical Decision-making Ability and Self-taught Ability
Objective To analyze nursing interns'decision-making ability and self-taught ability in clinical practice,and to analyze the correlation between them to provide reference for the effective cultivation of self-taught ability of nursing interns.Methods Convenience sampling was used to select 177 nursing interns from a Grade-A hospital in Beijing from November 2023 to February 2024 as the research subjects.General information survey scale,Clinical Decision-making Ability Scale,and Self-taught Ability Scale were used for investigation and analysis.Results The average score for the clinical decision-making ability items of nursing interns was(3.05±0.75)score,and the average score for the self-taught ability item was(3.02±0.77)score.The correlation analysis results showed a positive correlation between clinical decision-making ability and self-taught ability(r=0.933,P<0.01).Conclusion There is a significant positive correlation between nursing students'self-taught ability and clinical decision-making ability.In the teaching process,special attention should be paid to and the cultivation of nursing students'self-taught ability should be strengthened to improve their clinical decision-making ability.
