Investigation and Analysis on Quality of Graduates Majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from 2017 to 2020
Objective To evaluate the quality of graduates majored in traditional Chinese medicine from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from 2017 to 2020.Taking the university as an example,this study aims to identify problems in teaching and optimize teaching models to provide a basis for promoting the development of traditional Chinese medicine education and teaching at the university and even nationwide.Methods Collected the evaluation opinions of employment units on the abilities of graduates majored in traditional Chinese medicine and the professional education of the college,as well as students'evaluation opinions on the college's professional course,through methods such as mailing,online filling,and face-to-face on-site filling.Results Employment units are generally satisfied with the comprehensive quality of graduates majored in traditional Chinese medicine from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine,with 62.5%being very satisfied and 37.5%being relatively satisfied.In terms of basic knowledge evaluation,the satisfaction rate of English proficiency is only 87.50%.In terms of basic skill evaluation,although the satisfaction rate for innovation awareness and scientific research ability is 93.75%,only 25.00%of them are rated as"excellent",and 68.75%of them are rated as"good".In terms of comprehensive quality evaluation,the satisfaction rate for physical and psychological qualities is 93.75%.The graduates'satisfaction rate with the teaching at Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine is 94.60%.Graduates believe that the importance of core courses is generally 100.00%,with satisfaction ranging from 62.16%to 71.62%.51.35%of graduates believe that scientific research ability training should be strengthened,and 36.49%of them believe that professional skills training needs to be strengthened.Conclusion There is still significant room for improvement in innovation awareness,scientific research ability,professional skills,English proficiency,and other aspects of graduates majored in traditional Chinese medicine at Guangxi U-niversity of Chinese Medicine.Training in these skills should be strengthened,while improving students'physical and psychological fitness,optimizing teaching models,and cultivating well-rounded professionals in traditional Chinese medicine.
