Investigation and Analysis on the Status of Work Adjustment Disorders of Nurses in Obstetrics and Gynecology Department
Objective To investigate and learn the status and influencing factors of work adjustment disorders of nurses in obstetrics and gynecology department,so as to improve their work adjustment ability.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted on 102 nurses in the obstetrics and gynecology departments of two hospitals in Wuchuan City with the Work Adjustment Disorder Scale from the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory,and the data obtained from the survey was statistically analyzed.Results The score of work adjustment disorders of nurses in obstetrics and gynecology department was(22.04±3.21)score,significantly higher than the norm for adult women in China(P<0.05).Their work adjustment disorders are influenced by factors such as age,professional title,education,marriage and childbearing,income,and nursing age(P<0.05).Conclusion Nurses in obstetrics and gynecology department have a certain degree of poor work adjustment disorders,lack of work motivation,severe adjustment disorders,and are influenced by individual factors.Nursing managers should pay attention to this issue,provide care and assistance,and improve their work adjustment and professional abilities,nurses in obstetrics and gynecology department should pay attention to improving their psychological resilience and stress resistance,cultivating communication skills,effectively resolving nurse-patient conflicts,enhancing work adaptability,and reducing work adjustment disorders.
