Application of quasi-MQ function in geophysical data processing
The quasi-MQ function is a shape-preserving,stable,and fast interpolation method that can improve the per-formance of geophysical data processing.In this paper,We first introduce the basic principle of the MQ function.We give the expression of the quasi-MQ function and its derivative and apply this function to geophysical data processing cases to test the application effect.The results show that in fitting the surface elevation data,the quasi-MQ function can be used to approximate the surface shape well and retain the original data characteristics to the maximum extent;in the data processing of high-density electrical method,using this function can suppress the noise well,which is more conducive to the analysis and interpretation of data;in the processing of electrical sounding data,using this function to carry out one-dimensional interpolation and numerical differentiation can extracted the weak anomaly information well.All these confirm the practicability and potential of the quasi-MQ function in geophysical data processing.
