Application of MT and high precision magnetic survey in uranium exploration in Hongshiquan area
This paper combines audio frequency magneto telluric sounding(AMT)and ground high-precision magnetic methods with drilling results to determine the interpretation basis of fault structure in the Hongshiquan area.The main ore-con-trolling fault(Fl)and its secondary fault in this area are detected and analyzed,and the space position of the fault is effectively determined.Meanwhile,combined with the characteristics of rock physical parameters in the experimental area.The distribution characteristics of the lithologic contact zone between pegmatite granite and Mesoproterozoic metamorphic rocks are studied,and the spatial distribution of the pegmatite granite body of the main ore-forming rock body is roughly framed.The research shows that the combination of AMT and ground high-precision magnetic method is an effective physical method for fault detection and lithologic contact zone distribution.
