Application of integrated geophysical prospecting in the detection of hidden leakage of reservoir dam
Reservoir dam leakage detection is essential to operate and reinforce water conservancy projects safely. It is sig-nificant to ensure the safe operation of DAMS and the safety of downstream people's lives and property.According to the res-ervoir dam analysis's physical characteristics, this paper fully uses the advantages of the direct current method, which is very sensitive to apparent resistivity response characteristics for leakage channels. Therefore, the mise-a-la-masse and high-density resistivity methods are reasonably selected for comprehensive detection of the reservoir dam.Firstly, the mise-a-la-masse meth-od is used to pursue the leakage channel of the dam body and then combined with the high-density resistivity method for inter-preting the two-dimensional longitudinal profile of each line. Finally, through mutual verification of these two methods, the loca-tion and scale of potential leakage hazards are delineated effectively, and reliable results are obtained. So as to achieve the com-prehensive detection effect of point to line, line to plane, and provide an accurate and reliable basis for the investigation and rein-forcement of the seepage channel of the reservoir dam.
