The Sercel company has developed a function called Smart LF,which aims to reduce harmonic wave,can significantly reduce the distortion of all vibroseis in the low frequency band.Initially,this function required the use of the 508XT instrument host and was compatible with the VE464 decoder version 4.0 and above.How-ever,with the advancement of node instruments,the need for the instrument host has been eliminated,allowing independent operation.To achieve the Smart LF function without the 508XT instrument host,the SMA software has been developed.This software perfectly inherits the capabilities of management vibroseis of the 508XT instru-ment host.As a result,it can activate the Smart LF function even in the absence of the instrument host,enab-ling independent operation and utilization of the Smart LF.
