This paper discusses the application of modern satellite positioning technology, digital communication technology and integrated information management technology in oil exploration field data acquisition, and how these technologies have changed the location-related quality control methods in the physical exploration produc-tion process. In traditional production, quality control is usually single, isolated, and post-event,and these methods tend to focus only on a specific operational process and lack a comprehensive grasp of the entire produc-tion process. With the wide application of modern technologies such as satellite positioning and intelligent com-munication,this situation is changing to real-time,multi-source and full-flow quality control, which further strengthens and enhances the quality control of physical exploration production by collecting data from various sources and allowing real-time monitoring and tracking of every location-related data of the production processing.
