对外传播视角下中国特色词汇英译探究——以2023年《政府工作报告》为例

摘要
随着中国不断加快融入世界的步伐,国际社会越来越需要了解中国.翻译,这座连接中国与世界的桥梁,进入了全新时代.一年一度的全国两会《政府工作报告》中含有大量的中国特色词汇,涉及政治、经济、民生、生态、科技等各个领域.向世界介绍中国,即构建中国对外话语体系,译者翻译水平的高低是对外传播好中国声音,讲好中国故事的关键.译者在英译特色词汇时应以对外传播为目的,准确掌握原文内涵,灵活转换思维角度,采取恰当的英译策略,让目的语受众看得懂,从而更有效地对外传播中国思想,扩大中国话语影响力.
Abstract
In recent years,China has gradually accelerated its integration into the world and the need of international commu-nity for understanding China has been also on increase.Translation,the bridge connecting China and the world,has entered a new era.The annual Government Work Report reviewed and approved by the National People's Congress and the National People's Political Consultative Conference contains a large number of Chinese characteristic vocabulary,covering various fields such as politics,economy,people's livelihood,ecology and technology,etc.To introduce China to the world,that is,to build a Chinese international discourse system,the translation proficiency of translators is the key to spreading the Chinese voice and telling Chinese stories to the outside world.When translating characteristic vocabulary into English,translators should aim at external communication,accurately grasp the connotation of the original text,transform their way of thinking flexibly,adopt appropriate English translation strategies to make the target language audience understand,so as to spread Chinese ideas more effectively and expand the influence of Chinese discourse to the outside world.
