摘要
1919年 5月5日凌晨,北京五四运动爆发的消息传至芜湖,芜湖学界积极响应.在高语罕等先进知识分子的领导下,芜湖师生发起了一系列爱国运动.安徽省立"二农"表现突出,其以有利的地理条件成为游行请愿的集结地,作为核心力量发起成立芜湖学生联合会,对五四时期芜湖学生运动的深入持续推进起到至关重要的作用,也为日后安徽民主革命的兴起培养了一批骨干力量.
Abstract
In the small hours of of May the 5th in 1919,the news on the outbreak of May Fourth Movement in Beijing reached Wuhu,the educational circles in Wuhu immediately responded positively.Under the leadership of advanced intellectuals such as Gao Yuhan,the teachers and students in Wuhu launched a series of patriotic actions during which the Anhui Provincial Second Class-A Agricultural School became a gathering place for the procession and petition teams with its advantageous ge-ographical conditions.As the core force,it initiated the establishment of Wuhu Students'Federation and played a mainstay role in continuous promotion of the student's movement in Wuhu,which accumulated backbone force for later democratic revolution in Anhui.
