The Monster of Einstein,by Martin Amis,implies human concerns in the nuclear age by means of metaphor,ech-oing Ulrich Beck's risk society theory and revealing the double-edged sword effect of technological progress.The case of Vi-etnam's nuclear energy development reflects the challenge of balancing economic growth and environmental protection.While achieving safe development of nuclear energy,Vietnam also needs to address multiple dimensions such as nuclear safe-ty,environmental protection and social ethics.The country strives to achieve a win-win situation between technological pro-gress and social security through transparent public policies and extensive social participation.Vietnam's mode of multi-par-ty collaboration and social participation enhances its ability in responding to modern technological risks and promoting sus-tainable development,which has certain demonstrative significance.
