Ralph Ellison's novels,in which discussion is made from social,historical and cultural angles,embody his inclusive humanistic views on human nature,education and literature,and reveal his sense of social responsibility as an African-Ameri-can writer.This study on humanistic thoughts in Ralph Ellison's novels by paving a way to literary criticism in the view of a community with a shared future for mankind,highlight the role of community narrative in African American literature in con-structing the African American community in the United States.This way can interpret the heterogeneous isomorphism of nationalism construction in literary works,providing reference for the studies on ethnic literature in the globalized context.
