Academic research plays an important role in the development of various museums'businesses,and the evaluation of scientific research efficiency is one of the effective indicators to judge the academic research level.Using BCC-DEA model and Malmquist-DEA model,this paper discusses the development of scientific research efficiency of cultural relics systematic museums in 25 provinces and cities in China from 2016 to 2020.The results show that the scientific research efficiency of China's cultural relics system museums generally shows a fluctuating upward trend from 2016 to 2020.The key factors that restrict the scientific research efficiency of cultural relics system museums are professional and technical personnel ability,scientific research facilities and scientific research management level.By improving the scientific research equipment of cultural relics system museums,optimizing the allocation of scientific research resources and improving the quality of scientific research personnel,the academic research of cultural relics system museums can be effectively promoted from factor-driven and scale-driven to innovation-driven.
